Why can glamping near Saigon cost six times more?

Glamping near Saigon can cost as little as VND 150,000 per person if you bring your own tent, or more than VND 1 million for a package with meals. The important part is checking what each price actually includes before choosing where to spend the weekend.

At Eco Beach in Can Gio, you can sleep in a ready-made tent on the grass, choose an elevated tent on a wooden platform, or book an air-conditioned Home-Tent. All three are at the same property, but the comfort level and pricing are quite different. The first decision for a one-night glamping trip near Saigon is the setting: a lakeside campsite, a coastal escape, or a quiet riverside garden. Prices come after that.

Why glamping prices near Saigon vary so much

Glamping is camping with some or most of the equipment already provided. Depending on the property, you might sleep on a mattress inside a canvas tent with shared bathrooms, or in an air-conditioned tent with a private bathroom and dinner prepared for you.

The confusion usually starts with the advertised price. One campsite charges VND 1,500,000 for a tent that sleeps four. Another charges VND 900,000 per person. The second option appears much more expensive, but the first price may only include accommodation and basic barbecue equipment. The second might include dinner, breakfast, and activities.

That is why comparing glamping sites near Ho Chi Minh City by their lowest advertised rates rarely gives you the full picture.

These figures exclude transport, fuel, tolls, ferry fares, meals not included in the package, and optional activities.

At Bang Lang, tent rental includes overnight admission but not food. Bao Sam's packages include barbecue dinner, breakfast, and coffee. Eco Beach offers several accommodation categories, each with a different equipment and facilities list, and the cheapest package won't cover every activity the campsite offers.

Hang Soi's rates in the table are older than the others, so ask the operator for the current price and included services before paying a deposit.

What does glamping cost for four people?

Assume four adults share one tent within its stated capacity.

OptionTotal accommodation cost for four
Bring your own tents to Bang LangVND 600,000
Bang Lang Vintage tentVND 1,500,000
Eco Beach grass tentVND 800,000
Eco Beach air-conditioned Home-TentVND 1,600,000

Hang Soi large Mongolian tent, Saturday reference rateVND 3,400,000

A group that already owns tents, sleeping mats, and cooking equipment will find the VND 600,000 option attractive. International travelers arriving without camping gear may find it much more convenient to pay more for accommodation with prepared meals and facilities.

Compare the complete cost of the trip, not just the number printed next to the tent.

Can Gio: the easiest direction for a short weekend trip

Can Gio is a practical choice if you are staying in central Saigon and want to spend one night outdoors without driving for most of the weekend. It is also relatively straightforward for a group traveling by motorbike or private car.

From the former District 1 area, head toward Nha Be, follow Huynh Tan Phat Street to Binh Khanh Ferry Terminal, cross the river, and continue along Rung Sac Road. Depending on your campsite, you will turn toward Duyen Hai or Can Thanh.

Allow approximately two to three hours from central Saigon, including some time for the ferry. The actual journey depends on your starting point and weekend traffic.

Eco Beach Can Gio

Several accommodation styles in one place

Eco Beach is located in the Tac Xuat area of Can Thanh, Can Gio, and it is a useful example of how different camping arrangements can have very different prices, even at the same property.

Eco Beach's 2026 rates include:

  • VND 150,000 per person: Overnight campsite space for guests bringing and pitching their own tents.
  • VND 200,000 per person: A ready-made tent on grass, with an insulated mat, pillow, blanket, fan, and electrical outlet.
  • VND 300,000 per person: A tent on a raised wooden platform, with bedding, a fan, and charging facilities. The package also includes charcoal, farm visits, and fishing.
  • VND 1,600,000 per unit: An air-conditioned Home-Tent for four guests, at a promotional price.

Grass tents check in at 4:00 PM and check out at noon the following day, so there is little reason to leave Saigon before sunrise. You can have lunch on the way and arrive in the early afternoon.

The grass or wooden-platform tent is enough for a first night outdoors. Travelers who have difficulty sleeping in hot conditions, families with young children, or anyone wanting a more enclosed sleeping space should consider the Home-Tent. Before booking an air-conditioned unit, check whether its bathroom is private or shared.

Binh Khanh Ferry prices in late 2026

The ferry is a small but necessary part of the Can Gio journey, and new fares took effect on October 28, 2026.

Passenger or vehicleOne-way fare
Pedestrian or bicycleVND 4,000
MotorbikeVND 9,000
Car with fewer than seven seatsVND 47,000

A car with fewer than seven seats pays VND 94,000 for the return crossing, based on the vehicle fare shown, before any separately applicable charges. Fares from earlier in 2026 are out of date, so do not budget with them.

Is Can Gio a beach glamping destination?

Yes, in the sense that you are staying in a coastal area. But it is very different from the beach experience at Ho Tram.

Can Gio is known for its mangrove forests, estuaries, muddy tidal areas, and sediment-rich coastal waters.

Thick mangroves line a muddy river in Can Gio.

Do not expect the bright sand and blue water often associated with tropical beach resorts.

Can Gio makes sense if you want a short drive, seafood, riverside scenery, and some time outdoors. Swimming and relaxing on a broad sandy beach is what Ho Coc is for.

Dau Tieng Lake: best for groups bringing food and camping equipment

Dau Tieng Lake suits groups that enjoy preparing their own meals, setting up a barbecue, sitting outdoors, and spending an evening together.

The landscape includes broad open areas overlooking the lake, with Nui Ba Den, or Black Virgin Mountain, visible in the distance from some locations.

From central Saigon, one common approach is to travel toward Cu Chi and continue to the Dau Tieng area. Allow roughly two to three hours by private vehicle, depending on the actual campsite.

Do not simply enter "Dau Tieng Lake" into your navigation app and start driving. The lake is very large, and campsites around it can be far apart. Ask the operator for the exact entrance or guest reception location before leaving.

Bang Lang Glamping

Clear prices for groups

Photo: Bằng Lăng Glamping
Bougainvillea spilling over the water's edge at Bang Lang.

Bang Lang Glamping is located in the Dong Sen area of Dinh An, Dau Tieng. The campsite still uses its former Binh Duong address. Since Vietnam's administrative reorganization in July 2025, the former Binh Duong province has been incorporated into Ho Chi Minh City.

Bang Lang's 2026 tent rates are:

Tent typePrice per tentCapacity
Small Vintage tentVND 1,200,0002-3 guests
Large Vintage tentVND 1,500,0004 guests
Mongolian tentVND 2,400,0006 guests
Large tentVND 4,000,00010 guests
Large tentVND 4,300,00011 guests
Large tentVND 4,500,00012 guests

A couple renting the small Vintage tent pays VND 600,000 per person. With three guests in the same tent, the cost falls to VND 400,000 each.

Four people sharing the VND 1,500,000 large Vintage tent pay VND 375,000 each before meals, which makes it particularly easy to budget. The tent includes mattresses, pillows, blankets, a table and chairs, a fan, lighting, electricity, and barbecue equipment.

Overnight admission is included, but food is not. You can bring your own ingredients, and the campsite also offers food services on request; arrange prepared meals in advance.

At Bang Lang, check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at noon the next day. A 50% deposit is required to secure overnight accommodation.

The property also has air-conditioned rooms for two guests, at VND 1,100,000 from Monday to Friday and VND 1,200,000 on Saturday and Sunday in 2026. They suit people who like the lakeside setting but would rather sleep indoors.

When bringing your own tent makes sense

Bang Lang charges VND 150,000 per adult over 1.4 meters tall for overnight camping with your own tent. Children below that height pay VND 100,000.

Four adults therefore pay VND 600,000 in campsite fees, VND 900,000 less than the VND 1,500,000 four-person Vintage tent. That amount could cover a substantial part of the group's food, charcoal, and drinks.

However, the savings depend on what you already own. Buying a new tent, sleeping mats, lighting, a stove, and a cooler for a single weekend may cost more than renting a fully prepared tent.

Bringing your own equipment works better when you have previous camping experience, a vehicle capable of carrying everything, and enough interest in camping to use the gear again.

When is Dau Tieng Lake at its best?

On a one-night stay, late afternoon and early morning are the most enjoyable times around the lake.

Arrive around 2:00-3:00 PM, settle into your tent, and finish setting up before sunset. Wake early the following morning if you want quieter surroundings and softer light, then have breakfast and pack before check-out.

The lake's water level changes with the season and reservoir operations, so a small shoreline beach or exposed tree stump shown in an older photograph may look different on the day you visit. Ask for a recent photo when a lakeside tent position matters to you.

Do not set up camp on an empty-looking shoreline simply because other people have camped there before. Choose a managed campsite with permitted overnight areas, toilets, and clear parking arrangements.

Tri An Lake: best for comfortable tents and prepared meals

Tri An Lake, in Dong Nai, is a good choice for groups who want a lakeside setting without having to organize everything themselves. It is particularly suitable if you would rather have someone prepare dinner than spend the afternoon buying food and assembling camping equipment.

The lake is surrounded by different landscapes. Around the former Ma Da and Vinh Cuu areas, campsites are reached from roads such as DT767 and Bo Ho Road. Around La Nga and Dinh Quan, some properties sit on elevated ground overlooking the lake.

Choose the correct side of the lake before estimating your driving time. Two sites both described as being at Tri An can be quite far apart.

Bao Sam Camping

Several comfort levels

Bao Sam Camping is located on Bo Ho Road, Group 6, Hamlet 1, in the Tri An area.

Bao Sam's 2026 accommodation options include:

AccommodationCapacityPrice per person
Fan-cooled Vintage tent2-4 guestsVND 900,000-990,000
Small air-conditioned wooden cabin2-3 guestsVND 1,050,000-1,100,000
Air-conditioned Mongolian tent4-7 guestsVND 1,000,000-1,100,000
Bungalow with private bathroom2-4 guestsVND 1,200,000-1,300,000

The price changes with the number of guests sharing a unit: the Vintage tent, for example, costs VND 990,000 per person for two guests and VND 900,000 per person for four.

The package covers barbecue dinner, breakfast, coffee, and activities at the property, which makes a considerable difference compared with campsites charging separately for accommodation and food.

But make sure you are booking the correct category. A Vintage tent with a fan is not the same as an air-conditioned Mongolian tent. A bungalow with a private bathroom offers a different level of convenience from a tent using shared facilities.

Families with children or older relatives should ask about the distance to the bathrooms, lighting along walkways at night, and how warm the tent becomes during the day. Those details are often more useful than knowing whether your tent is in the front row overlooking the lake.

Tropical eGlamping and Panorama Glamping

For a more comfortable escape

Tropical eGlamping and Panorama Glamping, in the La Nga and Dinh Quan area, are alternatives for visitors who care more about comfort and carefully designed accommodation.

Tropical eGlamping offers different tent categories depending on location, views, and facilities. Its packages come with barbecue meals, breakfast, and basic drinks under the property's booking conditions.

Panorama Glamping focuses on air-conditioned tent accommodation with private bathroom facilities and views toward the lake.

Rates can vary considerably by date, tent category, and occupancy, so an ordinary weekday price says little about the Saturday rate. Choose your dates, enter the correct number of guests, and compare the final prices displayed during booking.

You can leave the stove, sleeping bag, and camping furniture at home for this style of stay. The trade-off is a higher price and less flexibility. Dinner may be served according to the property's schedule, and activities such as stand-up paddleboarding or other organized experiences may involve extra charges.

Choosing a scenic tent at Tri An Lake

Many promotional photographs of Tri An glamping sites are taken from tents overlooking the lake, often with decorative lights at sunset, so ask where your particular tent category is located before booking.

A garden tent, a waterside tent, and a tent on a hill can provide very different experiences. For sunset views, find out whether your actual tent faces the right direction.

Lakeside properties can also be exposed to wind and noise from outdoor gatherings. Anyone who prefers an early night should ask for accommodation away from barbecue areas, event spaces, and larger groups.

On a one-night trip to Tri An, spending most of Saturday afternoon at the campsite is enough. There is little benefit in driving all the way around the lake just to visit another viewpoint and return before dinner.

Ho Tram and Ho Coc: the better choice for beach glamping

Ho Tram and Ho Coc give you sand, sea air, and a morning walk along the coast.

A coastal lagoon and sand spit at Ho Coc, with boulders and green scrub along the shore under a clear sky, November 2024

Boulders, scrub and a pale sand spit where the lagoon meets the sea at Ho Coc.

From central Saigon, the route runs toward Ba Ria and continues toward the Ho Tram - Ho Coc coastal area. Allow approximately 2.5-4 hours by car, depending on your starting point and traffic.

That makes the coast less suitable for travelers who cannot leave until late Saturday afternoon. Departing before midday makes the trip much more relaxed.

Hang Soi Glamping

A coastal-area option near Ho Coc

Hang Soi Glamping is located along the coastal road in the former Bung Rieng area of Xuyen Moc. The surrounding Ho Coc - Ho Tram area combines coastal scenery, vegetation, and inland water features.

Hang Soi prices:

AccommodationSunday-ThursdayFriday-Saturday
Large Mongolian tent, 4 guestsVND 750,000/personVND 850,000/person
Small Mongolian tent, 2 guestsVND 850,000/personVND 950,000/person
Villa tent, 2-3 guestsVND 950,000/personVND 1,050,000/person

Use these rates for estimating your budget, then ask Hang Soi before paying for the price on your exact date, included meals and activities, additional charges, and cancellation conditions.

Overnight check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM.

Four guests sharing the large Mongolian tent would pay VND 3,400,000 at the Saturday rate above, and two guests choosing the small Mongolian tent would pay VND 1,900,000. Both options are based on prepared accommodation rather than bringing your own tent to an undeveloped beach.

Glamping near the beach is not always glamping on the sand

Ask about this when booking in Ho Tram or Ho Coc. A property may be located on a coastal road, in woodland, or beside a small lake, while the actual swimming beach is some distance away. Another property may be closer to the sand but offer simpler tents without air-conditioning or private bathrooms.

Before booking, confirm the distance from your tent to the beach, whether you need to cross a road, and where swimming is permitted.

Travelers who mainly want time in the sea need accommodation with convenient access to a suitable swimming area. A nicely decorated tent some way from the swimming beach may be better for photography and relaxing than for a traditional beach holiday.

Should you bring food to a beach glamping site?

Properties offering full-service packages often ask guests to book meals in advance. Find out exactly what dinner includes, whether the price is per person or per table, and how children are charged.

Grilling your own seafood means confirming first that outside food is allowed and whether the campsite charges for using its barbecue equipment. Otherwise you may pack a cooler full of ingredients only to discover that the property restricts outside food or allows cooking in designated areas only.

With barbecue dinner and breakfast already in the package, you need little more than personal items, drinking water, and a few snacks, unless someone in the group has specific dietary needs.

Long Phuoc: a shorter escape from urban Ho Chi Minh City

Glamping near Ho Chi Minh City doesn't have to mean two or three hours on the road. Long Phuoc, in the former Thu Duc area, sits beside the Dong Nai River. It has gardens and several properties designed for camping, outdoor meals, and group gatherings.

Lang Viet Glamping, for example, is at 87 Street No. 5, Long Phuoc. A New Day Glamping's 2025 address is 39 Street No. 5.

From eastern parts of Ho Chi Minh City, traveling to Long Phuoc can be easier than organizing a trip to Can Gio or Tri An Lake, though you still need to consider city traffic and the access road to the property.

Do not rely on old promotional prices when planning a 2026 stay. Ask whether the operator currently accepts overnight bookings, which accommodation categories are available, and how much a Saturday night costs.

Long Phuoc is better suited to birthday gatherings, family outings, and groups wanting barbecue dinner and one night in a garden setting. What you give up is the landscape: it does not have Tri An's broad lake views or Ho Coc's beaches.

Should you rent a ready-made tent or bring your own?

Neither option is always cheaper. The right choice depends on how often you camp, how much equipment you already own, and how many people are traveling together.

Rent a ready-made tent if you are new to camping

A prepared tent is usually the most practical option for first-time campers, people staying only one night, and travelers without a car for transporting bulky equipment.

There are no tent stakes, guy lines, waterproof groundsheets, sleeping mats, lanterns, or bedding to buy. You arrive, check the equipment, settle in, and enjoy the evening.

However, not every prepared tent provides luxury glamping. A tent with a portable fan and thin mattress is quite different from an air-conditioned tent with a bed, bathroom, and meal service.

Before paying, check photos of the exact accommodation category, the number of mattresses, the sleeping space, and bathroom arrangements.

Bring your own tent if you already have camping gear

Experienced campers can substantially reduce accommodation costs by bringing their own equipment. At Bang Lang, four adults using the 2026 bring-your-own-tent rate pay VND 600,000 in overnight campsite fees, before food and transport.

This also gives you more control over your own cooking arrangements and campsite setup, within the operator's rules.

A self-equipped trip needs a weather-resistant tent, groundsheet, sleeping mats, lighting, a power bank, rubbish bags, drinking water, and suitable food storage.

Skip the decorative camping accessories bought just for photographs. On a first trip, renting a prepared tent is often easier and may be cheaper once you account for the equipment you would otherwise have to purchase.

When a cabin or room is better than a tent

Some glamping properties also offer air-conditioned rooms or bungalows. They suit light sleepers, anyone who wants a private bathroom, and people who simply dislike walking to a shared toilet after dark.

At Bang Lang, the 2026 weekend rate for a two-person room is VND 1,200,000, which works out to VND 600,000 per person, excluding food.

The property's two-person Vintage tent also costs VND 1,200,000, so a conventional room may make more sense if air-conditioning and a private bathroom matter more to you than sleeping under canvas. Sometimes the best value is the option without "glamping" in its name.

How to calculate the real cost of a weekend glamping trip

The advertised accommodation rate may look reasonable, but additional expenses can change your final budget.

Use this calculation:

Total trip cost = Accommodation + meals not included + transport + extra fees + paid activities.

Then divide the total by the number of paying travelers. Families with children should not simply split everything equally when the campsite applies different child rates.

Example: four friends going to Dau Tieng

Your group rents Bang Lang's four-person Vintage tent for VND 1,500,000, so accommodation costs VND 375,000 per person. You still need to budget for Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, drinks, and transport.

The accommodation price is much lower than packages that include barbecue meals, but your complete trip may not be cheaper by the same margin. Buying expensive ingredients, drinks, or renting additional equipment can quickly increase the total.

Example: four friends going to Tri An Lake

Your group chooses a fan-cooled Vintage tent at Bao Sam, at VND 900,000 per person for four guests.

Accommodation and the package cost VND 3,600,000 in total, and that price already covers barbecue dinner, breakfast, and certain campsite activities.

Before setting VND 3,600,000 at Bao Sam against VND 1,500,000 at Bang Lang, add the food costs to the Bang Lang option. Then decide whether the remaining difference is worth paying to avoid shopping, cooking, and cleaning up.

Example: a couple heading to the coast

Two travelers book the small Mongolian tent at Hang Soi. At the Saturday rate, accommodation comes to VND 1,900,000.

The next step is to confirm food, activities, and the final booking total, then add transport.

A coastal weekend may cost considerably more in fuel or private transport than a trip to Long Phuoc, even when accommodation rates are similar.

International travelers should also ask whether they can pay by credit card, bank transfer, or cash. Some smaller properties use domestic bank transfers to collect deposits and may not support international cards.

A practical one-night glamping itinerary from Saigon

A two-day, one-night trip needs no long list of attractions. The best part is usually the time spent at the campsite from late afternoon through the evening, followed by a slow morning before returning to the city.

Saturday: leave in the morning and check in after lunch

Leaving central Saigon around 8:00-9:00 AM for Dau Tieng, Tri An, or Ho Tram gives you time to travel, have lunch, and reach your accommodation around early-afternoon check-in.

Once you arrive, inspect the tent before unpacking everything: check that the fan or air-conditioning works, the bedding is complete, the electrical outlets are accessible, and you know where the bathrooms are. It is much easier to resolve these problems in daylight than at 10:00 PM.

Around 4:00-5:30 PM is a good period for a walk, taking photographs, or enjoying the softer late-afternoon light. Any activities on the water should follow the property's operating hours and safety instructions.

Use the evening for dinner and relaxing. Groups who want peace and quiet should request a tent away from stages, barbecue gathering areas, and large group events.

Sunday: breakfast and check-out

Sunday morning can stay slow: wake early to see the lake or coast at its quietest, have breakfast, pack your belongings, and check out on time.

Bang Lang's check-out time is noon. Hang Soi's is 11:00 AM. Eco Beach's grass tents check out at noon. Always confirm the check-out time for the accommodation category you actually book.

Allow extra time for Sunday afternoon traffic on the drive back to Saigon, plus possible waiting time at Binh Khanh Ferry from Can Gio. There is no benefit in turning a relaxing weekend into a rushed journey home.

Extra planning tips for international visitors

When sending a location to a driver, use the exact campsite name and map pin, not just the name of the lake. A large reservoir or rural district may have multiple entrances and access roads.

A ride-hailing app may struggle to find a driver for the return trip from a remote campsite, so non-drivers should arrange round-trip transport or ask the operator to confirm that an actual pickup service is available on their travel date.

Travelers driving motorbikes must hold a valid license for the vehicle category under Vietnamese rules and be comfortable with local road conditions. A car with a driver is often the easier solution for groups with children, heavy luggage, or little experience driving in Vietnam.

Dry season or rainy season: when should you go?

Southern Vietnam has fairly distinct dry and rainy seasons, but conditions still change from day to day.

The period from late in the year into the early months of the following year is generally more convenient for outdoor evenings. However, lakeside sites can still be windy, and coastal properties may be affected by unfavorable sea conditions.

A rainy-season glamping trip still works as long as the tent is properly waterproof, the access road remains usable after rain, and the property has a safe permanent shelter in case the weather deteriorates.

Before booking, ask about postponements and cancellations during heavy rain, strong winds, or temporary campsite closures. An ordinary rainy evening and a severe weather event may be handled differently under the property's policies.

Never enter lakes or the sea when dangerous conditions have been reported.

Wear a suitable life jacket when kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding, and stay in areas and time periods approved by the operator.

Children near open water need direct adult supervision.

Cooking fires should only be used in designated areas. Do not place a grill against tent fabric, beneath low coverings, or near dry leaves and other combustible materials.

Six things to confirm before paying a deposit

A clear exchange with the campsite before booking can save more trouble than choosing the wrong property and trying to change plans later.

First, get the final price for your exact group. Tell the property how many adults and children are coming, the children's ages, and your check-in date. Do not ask only for the basic tent rate.

Second, find out what the price includes. Ask for separate details about accommodation, dinner, breakfast, drinks, admission, activities, and any additional taxes or fees.

Third, confirm the actual tent category. Check whether it has a fan or air-conditioning, private or shared bathrooms, hot water, how many sleeping mattresses are provided, and the maximum occupancy.

Fourth, confirm check-in and check-out times. Some properties allow check-in from 2:00 PM; Eco Beach's grass tents start at 4:00 PM. This affects when you should leave Saigon.

Fifth, understand the deposit and cancellation policy. Bang Lang requires a 50% deposit for overnight rooms and tents. Other properties have their own policies. Ask about refunds, date changes, notification deadlines, and what happens during severe weather.

Sixth, request the exact entrance location. A map pin for the campsite entrance is more useful than a district name or a lake name. Ask whether the final access road is suitable for low-clearance cars, motorbikes, or larger vehicles.

Keep your booking confirmation, payment records, and agreed conditions. A message stating the date, tent category, number of guests, total price, and cancellation conditions is far more useful than a general promise that everything will be arranged.

Which glamping destination near Saigon should you choose?

Choose Can Gio for a shorter, more affordable overnight escape, or Dau Tieng Lake if your group already has camping equipment and wants to organize its own barbecue. Pick Tri An Lake when comfortable accommodation and prepared meals matter most, Ho Tram - Ho Coc for a coastal weekend with sandy beaches, and Long Phuoc when you want a garden stay without driving far from the city.

FAQ

How much does glamping near Saigon cost in 2026?

Prices depend on the type of stay. In 2026, Bang Lang and Eco Beach charge from VND 150,000 per adult for overnight camping with your own tent. Basic ready-made tents can work out to around VND 200,000-400,000 per person in the examples covered here when shared at full occupancy. Packages including barbecue dinner, breakfast, air-conditioning, or private bathrooms may cost around VND 900,000 per person or more. Always confirm the rate for your specific weekend and what it includes.

What is the best glamping destination near Saigon for couples?

For a short and affordable escape, couples can consider the grass or wooden-platform tents at Eco Beach Can Gio. For a more comfortable stay with prepared meals and lake views, look at two-person accommodation options around Tri An Lake. Ho Coc and Ho Tram suit couples who prefer the coast, although the drive is longer.

Is Can Gio or Ho Tram better for beach glamping?

Choose Can Gio for shorter travel distances, mangrove scenery, and a coastal environment dominated by estuaries and tidal areas. Choose Ho Tram or Ho Coc if you want sandy beaches, walks by the sea, and a more traditional coastal getaway. Can Gio does not offer the same kind of beach experience as Ho Coc.

Do I need to bring my own tent for glamping near Ho Chi Minh City?

No. Many glamping sites provide fully pitched tents with mattresses, fans, or air-conditioning, so you only need personal belongings. Bringing your own tent is better for travelers who already have camping equipment, know how to use it, and want to reduce accommodation costs. Confirm that the campsite accepts self-equipped guests before arriving.

Can foreign tourists arrange a glamping trip from Saigon independently?

Yes. Book the accommodation and transport in advance, particularly for remote properties around Tri An Lake and Dau Tieng. Do not rely entirely on ride-hailing apps for the return journey. Anyone driving a car or motorbike must meet Vietnam's licensing requirements for that vehicle. If you are unfamiliar with local roads, hiring a car with a driver is usually more convenient.
